SellmerDiers

The year is coming to an end, the days are short, and we are all looking forward to celebrating Christmas and end the year with our loved ones.

The year 2021 was another fantastic and challenging year. Together with our donors, colleagues, suppliers and not least you, we have helped several families grow in the midst of a global pandemic. I’m very proud and glad that we succeeded together.

In Denmark, Christmas time is called the festival of hearts. Here we celebrate love for our neighbor, love for our family and love for those with whom we surround ourselves. This year, I am particularly proud of the fact that despite a persistent global pandemic, we have managed to recruit, test, and approve the world’s best donors. Everyone at SellmerDiers is 110% and wholeheartedly passionate about finding, selecting and screening the very best donors who we can ultimately offer you in your journey to become parents. SellmerDiers’ donors are unique, and for us it is essential to see our donors in a human perspective. It is very important to us to get to know our donors well. Each of our donors is a human being with a unique personality and many special talents, and we can vouch for every single one of them. I hope this is noticeable for you as well. In the new year, we will continue to offer the world’s most amazing donors and thus help families grow.

I would like to wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us at SellmerDiers. Thank you for everything in 2021 and we look forward to 2022.

Many kind Christmas greetings,

Steffen Nielsen
Managing Director, SellmerDiers

Looking back on an eventful year

We started the year with a busy winter season, and therefore we were happy to welcome new employees both in the customer service department, Jens, and donor coordinators Nadia and Maria to our department in Aalborg.

At SellmerDiers, we are a small team of dedicated and caring employees who work closely together every day, including in the warehouse, as you can see, to ensure that the very best donors are available for delivery to our customers.

Summer came, and we welcomed the lovely, warm weather with both PRIDE celebration and a canoe trip among colleagues on the small river in Aarhus.

In addition, we launched our genetic test, GeneMatch. GeneMatch is an additional genetic test that screens your genes for 400+ diseases and compares them with your donor’s genes to ensure that you are a good match.

Cheers for summer and canoe trip!

Happy Pride!

Autumn is always a busy time of year and this year was no exception. We welcomed our two new donor coordinators in our department in Copenhagen, Lillian and Anne. In Aarhus, the sales department was busy establishing collaborations with several new clinics, and Sebastian packed and sent several welcome packages to German clinics, as you can see in the pictures below.

Autumn equals the start of the studies for potential new donors, which is why we were present at the students’ fair with our own stand. In addition, our PhD biologist Maja gave a presentation about good sperm quality at the local student association.

Every year, December is an extremely busy month, where we are all fully occupied by completing various activities and tasks before the end of the year. 2021 is no exception. But despite the long days, we remember to celebrate the month of Christmas with both Christmas gifts for our dear donors and a fantastic Christmas dinner for all SellmerDiers’ employees, where we cooked the menu ourselves.

In addition, we were able to welcome our new laboratory employee in Aarhus, Malene, and we also managed to send a special greeting to our German customers.

Welcome, Malene – and Christmas calendar gifts for our donors
Greetings from Sebastian and Line to our German customers
Merry Christmas from all of us at SellmerDiers

We look forward to welcoming you all to an exciting and hopefully just as meaningful year 2022.
